On a sun-kissed summer day at Orchid House, Shenali and Mike gathered with family and friends to mark the beginning of their wedded bliss.
Shenali and her bridesmaids relaxed throughout the morning while getting their hair and makeup done in the Bridal Suite.
Birch Tree Photography spent time capturing unique shots of Sheanli’s wedding accessories, using the gorgeous interior spaces of the winery.
After Shenali was primped and prepped, her family joined together in a Sri Lanken wedding tradition. An elaborate display of sweets and desserts was set, and her parents took part in the tradition by feeding her.
The Warnakulasuriya family was beaming with happiness as they fulfilled another Sri Lanken tradition.
The gentlemen savored a delicious luncheon and made some final touches with their attire in The Nook.
The Sri Lanken tradition continued with a handoff between Mike and his mother. Birch Tree Photography snapped some shots, capturing the excitement Mike felt on his special day.
The Nook then became an intimate, special spot where Shenali and Mike had a First Look and exchanged vows with one another.
Guests arrived and headed to The Meadow for the ceremony, where Orchid House Winery wooden, cross-back chairs lined the space. The free-standing arch was decorated with dainty florals.
During the ceremony, Shenali, Mike, and their families took part in the Sri Lanken Oil Lamp Lighting Ceremony. The lamp was later taken to the reception space and placed next to the newlyweds.
As celebrations rang out, guests moved into the Cocktail Hour spaces to enjoy drinks and d’oeuvres. While inside, they had the opportunity to sign a custom postcard with a message for Shenali and Mike.
After a walk through the enchanting pathway, guests were greeted with a dreamy garden party.
Gold rimmed chargers accompanied by a menu card and favor enhanced each place setting. The blush satin napkins provided by L’Nique matched perfectly with the taper candles on each table.
Cleveland Music Group got guests on their feet for a fun lineup of introductions. Shenali and Mike made their way to the dance floor to celebrate their First Dance as newlyweds.
Afterwards, Shenali and Mike enjoyed a ceremonious cake cutting of their Confectionary Cupboard tiered wedding cake.
The evening came to a close with speeches and dancing, coupled with fiber optic wands and glow sticks, leaving guests with unforgettable memories.
