Venue – Orchid House Winery
While many couples are often unsure if they’d like to get ready on-site at their wedding venue, the answer is clear at Orchid House: Yes! We offer two getting ready spaces for couples who are looking for a one-stop shop with their wedding venue. Keep reading to learn more about our getting ready spaces!
When guests first walk into Orchid House, they are taken aback by a remarkable room called, ‘The Study.’ Once offices have become a strikingly beautiful space for our Brides to get ready on their wedding day.
One of the most unique features of the room is the custom light fixture. Coupled with the rustic wooden beams, the chandelier brings a modern touch to the elegant space.
Glass Asylum, a local vendor, hand crafted the decorative piece. Most photographers take advantage of the great lighting and elegance that the chandelier boasts.

A gorgeous white banquet lines one of the walls in the Bridal Suite. Several modern, white tufted chairs fill the remainder of the room and match the clean aesthetic that it alludes.
Many photographers choose to take advantage of the furniture in this room, as the white backdrop accentuates the beauty of each Bride.

Lining the opposite side of the Bridal Suite is a wall of windows.
Each window is fitted with a covering for changing purposes but functions as a source of natural light for breathtaking photos.

One of the newest additions to The Study is our trendy plant wall. The hanging potted plants add a colorful pop to the white base.

To top off the day, you’ll be welcomed with mimosas and a complimentary luncheon.
Three bottles of Orchid House Winery Sparkling Brut varietal and orange juice are accompanied by a hand-written note from our Wedding Manager.

Perhaps, the most eye-catching feature(s) of the Bridal Suite are the large mirrors on the back wall. While giving the optical illusion that the room extends further, the mirrors offer a great space for hair and makeup artists to set up.
The mirrors also make for remarkable solo shots of our Brides!

Adjacent to our main dining room, the Tasting Room, is a cozy spot on the property called, “The Nook.”
This space is exclusively designated for the gentlemen who choose to get ready on-site.
The entrance to The Nook is framed with curtains that can be drawn for privacy. As seen in the photo above, these drapes also make for great action shots.

Large windows [with coverings] line the back wall of The Nook, allowing natural light to brighten the space.
The gentlemen are also encouraged to use the two restrooms and closet that are located directly in their getting ready space.

Although typically low maintenance on wedding day, The Nook offers a great space for the gentlemen to enjoy some camaraderie, a complimentary luncheon, and some beverages from the beer bucket provided by Orchid House.
