Our wedding at Orchid House Winery was something out of a dream. The bride & groom experience was incredible. Our guests said it was one of the best venues/weddings they’ve ever been to. Everything was so beautiful and surreal. Grace Porco was helpful during the planning process. I would recommend this venue and experience to anyone for a memorable wedding!

Truly cannot say enough positive things about our experience—we had the PERFECT day. Grace was such a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was on schedule and went smoothly. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and I still have guests reaching out to me to tell me how much they enjoyed our reception. The food was fantastic,too—we feel so fortunate to live close by so we can keep going back for dinner/drinks for years to come.

Orchid House Winery is truly fantastic. We had our ceremony and reception on the property, and we could not have been more pleased with how the day went. Exceptional service, breathtaking ambiance, and attention to every detail are just a few reasons why our night was so special. Grace Porco and her team left no stone unturned, making sure to accommodate us and our guests throughout the night. Our planning process was effortless and Grace was always willing to work with us on every idea we had to make our night truly one-of-a-kind. I cannot recommend Orchid House enough and look forward to coming back in the future for other events soon!

I have been to the “old” Orchid House over the past 15 years and I always told myself I was going to get married there. Fast forward and it happened! We are THRILLED we went with them as a venue. We went to visit on a beautiful day in May 2023 to book for May 2024. Our day didnt turn out as beautiful but the venue was well prepared to help us every step of the way. It turned out picture perfect and the staff was ON POINT. All of our guests had nothing but good things to say about the service. We cant get over our wedding and are so greatful to Orchid House and Grace for all of their efforts.

The Orchid House Winery was the perfect venue for our September wedding. We had first booked with the venue before the transition to The Orchid House Winery and it was a blessing to have been able to have worked with the new staff. Maria the wedding coordinator is so professional and personable at the same time. She makes the day and the days leading up to the wedding run so smoothly that I didn’t have to worry about anything. The staff are wonderful and attentive. We loved the atmosphere of the entire venue. It is beautiful during the day, evening, and night.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our wedding at Orchid House. Our day was purely magic thanks to the stunning gardens, outstanding service, and the close relationship I felt with Maria, the Wedding Manager. I felt cared for and my day felt like it was special for a team that had already done two weddings in that weekend. Did I mention the gardens?! Our guests had nothing but extremely positive things to say about their experiences and I am excited to see the continued improvements the team makes to the space after the ownership changes in the last year!

Best experience! The staff was so helpful and professional and helped ease any concerns and anxiety we had during the planning process! Such a beautiful venue for a wedding. It was like a fairytale. The venue was beautifully set up and it made for a flawless event!

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago 9/9/2023 and it was the best day ever. The venue is gorgeous and the staff is amazing. We booked it a year prior in September of 2022 when it was still thorncreek. New ownership took over at the beginning of 2023 and they were wonderful. Everything from our original contract was upheld and we had no issues with this transition. Maria is great! Very responsive and helpful. The day of our wedding went smoothly, no issues at all from start to finish. Maria and the other staff really want you to enjoy your day and not be stressed out, they know what they are doing so trust that everything will be taken care of. We arrived to the beautiful bridal suite with champagne ready for us. The guys also had a nice area and assortment of brews to hangout and relax before the ceremony. Throughout the night multiple staff members came up to me and my husband making sure we had everything we needed. The venue and gardens are in beautiful condition you really don’t need many decorations the place itself is so pretty, the only decor we had were flowers and a welcome sign and that’s really all you need! 10/10 would recommended orchid house winery for your wedding day. If you’re in the area go check it out in person you’ll fall in love with its beauty and be in good hands with the staff there.

Orchid house winery was the perfect venue for our wedding. Maria, the venue coordinator, was amazing to work with. She answered every question we had and helped the day run smoothly. The day before our wedding the power went out due to a storm and did not come back on until later that night. Orchid house and Maria worked hard all of Friday working to get generators and beautiful lights just in case. They venue also lets you bring decorations the night before if needed which was helpful. The venue itself is gorgeous and everyone was raving about it. There are so many great places for photos. We could not have asked for a better experience. If you choose Orchid House Winery you won’t regret it

Maria and Danielle at Orchid House Winery helped make our wedding dreams come true! They were both extremely easy to work with and very accommodating of our needs and wants. Throughout the planning process they both met with us to answer our questions so that the day ran extremely smooth, which it did! During the day, they made sure to always check in on us and make sure we weren’t worrying about a thing. We truly appreciated this and felt at ease that we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the day! Orchid House as a venue is extremely beautiful. The grounds are taken care of extremely well and everything is so neat and tidy. Our guests couldn’t believe that this venue was in Cleveland, Ohio as you truly felt you were somewhere magical. The entire day felt like a dream and we were so glad we chose Orchid House as the backdrop for the best day of our lives!

I couldn’t recommend The Orchid House, or our Wedding Manager, Maria, more! Having our wedding celebration at this venue was a dream come true. It’s truly feels like a magical garden somehow tucked into a serene corner of Aurora, OH. The winery itself is a first class experience in every sense of the phrase. From the unbelievable food, to the amazing wine, to the gorgeous decor. It is classic, chic, and modern. We spent months meeting with Orchid House’s staff planning every detail of our day (admittedly not knowing much about the planning process). Maria guided us with expertise and genuine care throughout every step of the way. She was professional, thoughtful, and detailed oriented until the very end of the wedding evening. She went above and beyond to not only accommodate every ask but offer help in any way possible putting everyone’s mind at ease. The venue’s assisting staff that made the entire day a success couldn’t have been more gracious and supportive. My guests have yet to stop raving about every aspect of the day. We are so grateful and will be regularly returning to Orchid House for dinner (and saying hi to Maria).

Orchid House was the PERFECT VENUE for our August wedding day. My husband and I had dreamed of a venue that had indoor and outdoor space, that was full of light, and whose natural beauty would elevate the joy of our wedding. Upon touring the venue, we knew immediately that Orchid House would be right for us. We had a 250-person wedding, which required an additional auxiliary tent, and the venue switched ownership in the middle of our planning process. Despite this transition, everyone at Orchid House was consistent in their communication and their willingness to accommodate all of our requests. We used every inch of space for our wedding day; the new bridal suite in the front was utilized for a Jewish tisch ceremony, the main ballroom was utilized for a Catholic service, the tent immediately to the right outside was used for cocktail hour, and the other two tents fit all of our guests PLUS a Klezmer band AND dueling pianos! Even with a large group, OHW felt like an intimate space. We had so many guests marvel that this was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen. The outdoor area is stunning for photos, especially in the afternoon and early evening. We had our ceremony facing the trees (away from the winery itself) and our chairs were arranged in a beautiful semicircle so that all of our guests felt like they had a good view of the ceremony. We NEED to brag about the staff! Working with Emily from Taste of Excellence and Maria from Orchid House was a joy! Out of nowhere, we experienced not one but TWO torrential downpours /thunderstorms during our wedding day. One such storm erupted right as guests started to arrive, and Maria, Emily, and their teams worked with our planner to flip the order of the day. Cocktail hour was split before and after the ceremony (during which there was a brief spot of sunshine) and everyone loved the casual atmosphere that a double cocktail hour provided. The rain came back with a vengeance once all of our guests were in the reception tent, but Maria and her team lept into action to pull down the walls of the tent to keep our guests dry! Their team was also incredibly accommodating for newborns and nursing moms, handicap accessibility, and different dietary restrictions. We loved getting married at Orchid House and cannot recommend it highly enough! (PSA: Enjoy the wine slushies before they run out!)

I cannot recommend this venue enough, and neither can my guests! It’s impeccably maintained from the landscaping to each and every fixture. Maria was a total professional who made the process so easy. We had 180 guests and yet there wasn’t a single notable line for the bar, everyone received their food quickly, and it was just seamless from start to finish. This venue was a dream and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

My husband and I booked this venue over a year ago, before it’s acquisition and name change from Thorncreek to Orchid House. Although it was worrisome that we were seeing turnover due to the acquisition, the transition to the new staff was seamless for us. Maria and Julianne communicated well and worked with us to settle all the final details before our big day. On our wedding day of June 3rd, we were completely blown away by the attention to detail, and they truly transformed the tasting room to match our vision. The wedding coordinator, Maria, was so incredibly sweet, kind, and organized. She handled everything in a professional manner and was transparent throughout the process. We cannot thank Maria and the rest of the staff enough for their hard work. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue and how the event went!
